There are types of Trauma Centre - L1,L2,L3,L4
Level 1- Provides highest level of surgical care to trauma patients.
Level 2- Includes the specialties of orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, anesthesiology, emergency medicine, radiology and critical care.They provide 24 hours coverage to the trauma patients.
Level 3- Level 3 trauma center does not provide 24 hours coverage to the patients but it do have sufficient resources for emergency resuscitation, surgery, and intensive care of most trauma patients.
Level 4- Provides advanced trauma life support to the patients.
